As an Estate Sale Associate, you will be part of the estate sales team. You will travel to our clients' beautiful homes, set up for the sale, price the items, and work on the estate sale. Every home and client is different, making every week an adventure. Learn about antique glass one week and professional tools the next. Stage a mansion on Monday and a barn full of tools and antiques on Wednesday.

At Southfork Estate Sales, you will never be bored!  This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates, recent graduates, retirees, and those wishing to explore a new opportunity.

Typical days/hours:  · Set up, staging, pricing, etc.: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 4:00.  · Working the sale: Thursday – Saturday, Friday – Saturday, Thursday - Sunday 8:30 – 5:00 (Hours and days may vary as needed).  

Responsibilities 

* Arrive on time at clients’ homes located within Dallas County and beyond (Partial gas reimbursement available as determined) 

* Cleaning, display set up, organizing, and staging of furniture and home goods. 

*Online product research and pricing. 

*Placing directional event signs. 

*Assisting customers, Square POS operation, and maintaining displays.

*Working with deadlines, taking direction from the team lead. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

*Driver’s license with reliable transportation and ability to drive to client's locations daily. 

*Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize disorder in someone’s household. 

*Customer Service, you will be working with hundreds of customers during the scheduled sale. We look for someone who has great selling ability or social skills that can help multiple customers and handle stressful situations.

*Great organizational and time management skills and strong verbal communication. 

*Retail experience a plus, resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities. 

*Able to use the internet and mobile apps proficiently. (Google Lens, Amazon, eBay, etc.)

*Interest/knowledge in home décor, art, antiques, collectibles, tools, furniture, etc. a huge plus.

*Friendly and positive attitude. Honest, hard-working, and reliable GED or high school diploma preferred. 

*Highly collaborative and interested in working in multiple areas. Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to perform well under pressure. Very strong analytical skills.

This is a part-time (contract 1099) position doing estate sales Monday through Sunday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm with days off during the week as jobs are completed within Dallas County and beyond. (Further details to be provided)

Rate: $10.50/HR and up based on experience and other factors. (Benefits: sale discounts, merit raises, and bonuses)
